A really good sour!!! Pours a clear bright, dark gold color with a delicately bubbly white head ( a hard pour gives it a bigger, more frothy head). Head retention is good and there was some small light lacing on the glass, Very good carbonation level, lots of bubbles in my flute glass. Aroma is strong - sourness definitely there. The smell of the oak barrel is prominent. The fruit seemed more like sour apple than mango. Flavor was even better than the aroma. Fruit sourness, rather than swilling vinegar. The oak, malt and apple blend wonderfully. The label called it a farmhouse ale and there was some "funk" there too. Mouthfeel is rich and tart. Overall a very tasty beer.
