L: Poured from a bottle to a goblet. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of creamy, off white head that lasted an average amount of time. Not much lacing.
S: A big, enticing aroma of bourbon, dark fruit, cherries, yeast, malt, and spices.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (barely present), some cherries (mostly in the finish), a whole lot of bourbon (and its accompanying barrel), some dark fruit (raisins, dates), and spices (pepper). Like the aroma, the taste is big and aggressive. It's complex and quite powerful. It's definitely boozy, but this mellows out the more you drink. Tasty.
F: A lot of carbonation with a sharp, lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A well done American quad. Drinkable.
