Brewed and canned year-round, Hazy Tides combines a wheat-heavy malt base with our favorite strain of Kveik yeast. Post fermentation, we dry hop with a blend of southern hemisphere hops including Motueka and Nelson Sauvin, imbuing the beer with a tempest of tropical and stone fruit character. Medium bodied with waves of resinous hop aroma, the tide's always in with this one.

Taster at brewery. Hazy dark golden pour with a frothy white head. Fruity aroma, blend of citrus and tropical. Taste is mildly sweet , more fruity flavors, zesty, spritzy.

From the can, it pours a hazy amber color with a monstrous, overly vibrant, head that overflowed my glass. The nose gets a nice dose of citrus over malt. The mouth gets an easy drinking citrusy malty brew.

The name of the beer is actually Hazy Tides. Purchased a 16 oz can at Chip's Beer and Wine in Kill Devil Hills, NC. Poured into a pint glass, features a hazy straw yellow color and a big foamy white head. Good head retention and thick foamy bands of lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste feature fruit, mostly grapefruit and some tropical fruit. Bitterness is mild to moderate. Mouthfeel is light, bright and fruity with just moderate bitterness. The "dank" quality of most NE IPAs is present too. Very drinkable. At 6%, it is lighter than some NE IPAs. A good beer!!!
