Devil's Take (Brandy Barrel Aged)

Thanks to Kwaide for sending this in a recent trade. Pour starts out frustratingly with excessive carbonation. A nice, sugary smell is promising, but the taste is a messy execution on a barreled stout. Brandy is tough to detect, but notes of sour, bitter, and acid are easy to find. Some times I wonder if the problem is timing, beer should have been drunk sooner, or aged longer. I think this one had problems timing can't cure.
