16oz can - a safe, appropriate offering for this particular uneven anniversary, methinks.
This beer pours a murky, pale golden yellow colour, with three flabby fingers of puffy, rocky, and bubbly eggshell white head, which leaves some decent dissipating cirrus cloud form lace around the glass as it lazily sinks out of sight.
It smells of pungent mixed domestic citrus flesh, a further candied tropical fruitiness, gritty and grainy cereal malt, a hint of damp minerality, and more leafy, weedy, and musky floral hoppiness. The taste is crackery and biscuity caramel malt, blood orange and lemon citrus zest, additional pineapple and kiwi exotic fruity notes, a hint of stoney flintiness, and more earthy, herbal, and grassy green hop bitters.
The carbonation is adequate in its palate-caressing frothiness, the body a solid medium weight, and genuinely quite smooth, with a wee airy creaminess arising as things warm up a tad out of the ol' bachelor frigo. It finishes off-dry, the lingering Yuk-a-Flux frooty notes making hay while the sun doth still shine.
Overall - well, they've gone and more or less nailed the style concept here, with lots of robust hop flavour, and very little of the (once) typical bittering aspect. Easy to put back, with nary a sign of the extra 3 points of the wowee sauce to be seen, but then that's not how this really works, is it?

Appearance - Pours a hazy peach with four fingers of frothy white head that leaves some puffy lace on the glass.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, peach, pineapple, orange and citrus peel, mango, guava, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold citrus and tropical hops upfront. The peach, pineapple, orange and citrus peel, mango, and guava come through next. The bready malts and earthy yeast finish off the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - A bold and pungent NE IPA from Coronado. This is quite the brew to celebrate 23 years. Flavours are spot on and quite drinkable considering the ABV.

Picked up a 16oz single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 9-12-19 for $3.49. Canned i believe on 8-11-19 (smudged); consumed on 11-13-19.
Beer poured a golden orange with a very nice white head and lots of suspended particles still floating 10 minutes after the pour into my Spiegelau ipa glass.
Nose was muted initially, but does come thru after warming with hints of citrus and stone fruit.
Taste comes across like a west coast ipa; peach, orange, mango meld nicely over a medium pale malt base. Finishes with some pine and ring abrasiveness; 6/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, both refreshing and smooth.
Overall another enjoyable IPA from Coronado, they are consistently good and are worthy to try if you find a fresh one.

For the most part I’m not a fan of Coronado beers, save the awesome Weekend Vibes. But still wanted to pick this one up because I’m a sucker for anniversary beers. Can description called for a, “After 23 years of coastal vibes, we’ve got plenty of reasons to celebrate! Brewed to deliver massive, tropical, peach, and orange hop flavors, this limited-edition New England-Style double hazy IPA is the perfect cheers to 23 years!”
Poured a hazy amber color with 4-to-5 fingers of rocky white head. Lots of bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Almost perfect foamy spiderweb lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled mandarin orange, tangerine rind, peach, stone fruit, tropical zest and guava. A little better out of the can. Was guessing Mandarina Bavaria was involved. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste was a little better, but still not a 4.00. Got mandarin orange, tangerine rind, peach, apricot, nectarine, stone fruit, guava, floral and tropical zest. Still guessing Mandarina Bavaria for hops, among others. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Smooth finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Very good hazy IPA overall. I’d have it again. (Overall - 3.75)

The best Hazy NEDIPA I've had this year. Amazing foamy head retention and lacing. Smell is of peaches, apricot. Taste is of tropical hops. Great mouthfeel. Overall a really nice beer for the style.
