I think this beer falls under the cute country marketing umbrella. It's the best available between corona and crown lager at Wagga airport. Had it several times and usually not too bad for a lager. This time, it has a distinct sour note, and the nose is a bit farm like. Not terrible, but is on the spectrum of distant manure / hay, so maybe the country aspect is apt! I think the sour note must be batch specific, I don't remember it from before. It is drinkable and still miles ahead of a Carlton draft.

I had a 330ml bottle. This beer is brewed under licence and not by the owner. The ABV is actually 4.8% and the label calls it a "hoppy lager" which is not a recognised style as far as I know.
Appearance: light gold later colour. Faint cloudiness. The beer is in a very dark glass, almost completely black, presumably to prevent light damage.
Aroma: some mild fruity hops present.
Flavour: good malty flavours and good bitterness on the finish.
Overall: an ok beer, good crisp bitter flavour expected of a lager but not reaching great heights. They have tried to add some hoppy aroma to the lager style possibly through late addition of hops for hop back which has been achieved but not overwhelming also this is probably why the bottle is so dark to protect the faint delicate hop aroma.
