Corsair Artisan Brewery "Ancient IPA"
on tap at the tasting room on 5 April 2015
Notes: Listed at 8.3% ABV. Clear deep gold body beneath a white head. Slightly better than average lacing. Piney and citrusy in the nose. This is made with Farro and spelt, as well as Amarillo and Galaxy hops. There is something unusual about the malt but I don't think you'd immediately think that there were some unusual grains in it. Medium bodied and crisp. A solid bitterness balances it and it finishes dry with lingering citrus, pine, and earthiness.
