On tap at Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company in Buellton, CA.
Pours a clear dark orange-brown with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, toast, caramel, and brown sugar aromas. Taste is much the same with burnt caramel and toast flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of toast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that has a better mix of aromas than flavors in my opinion.
