Poured into a Sester stange. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a thin white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet grainy malt, grassy hops, light lemon citrus, hay. Flavor follows with grainy malt with a hint of honey sweetness, grassy hops, dried grass and field flowers, a hint of lemon. Finishes with nice smooth grains and light grassy hops. Quite remarkable light creaminess in the body was unexpected and appreciated. This is a very nice kolsch, as enjoyable as any continental ones. The grain flavors are pleasant and the light sweetness and citrus are well integrated into the flavor. Nicely done.

really a very very solid kolsch, one of the better american made examples of the style i have had in as long as i can remember. just a little haze to this one, but bright yellow in color and holding on to a creamy half inch of thick white foam. it smells a little sweet, maybe a little corn in here or something, it has that grain sweetness without the weight it seems. the grain is definitely german in nature, but there seems to be just a little more going on here. the flavor is great, the yeast is a bready bakery fresh german ale type, obviously patiently cold conditioned to develop some crisp lager characteristics, they have the process dialed. clean and smooth in feel, but a little bigger than most in terms of body. it also has that slight sweetness in the center, which is mostly resolved by the finish. grassy european hops are there in small proportion on the back end as well, and as creamy and hearty feeling as it is for a lighter style beer, its also enormously refreshing being so well carbonated and clean. not enough good american made kolsch types out there, and this one has to be near the top on my experience. outstanding example of the style, infinitely drinkable.

Pours a bright yellow with a white head. Aromas and flavors are fruity melon, fresh spring flowers, and a nice crackery malt backbone. Super crisp and refreshing. One of the better Kolsch I've had.

Pours a thin head on a hazy light straw body.
The aroma is a nice floral and fruity smell.
The taste is mild grain sweetness with a touch of lemon bitter.
The texture is crisp.
An easy and good flavored drink.
