Look: It pours dark brown with a tan head. Head retention is low.
Smell: It has aromas of chocolate and alcohol with bourbon and low spice. There are also hints of vanilla.
Taste: It has strong chocolate with a bit of roast in the flavor. There are bourbon notes with spicy rye. It also has a very low levels of vanilla.
Feel: It has a full body with strong alcohol warming.
Overall, a complex mixture of flavors. I like the way the rye and the bourbon blend together with the malts.
