Rice Lager brewed with Matcha Tea
We are so excited for you to crack into this year’s crushable Lagerville Super Collab! Stemming from their recent Fig Mtn Brew launch in Japan, Jaime and Kevin were inspired by the innovative minds of West Coast Brewing (WCB) of Shizuoka. So we teamed up with WCB and brewing legends Wild Fields to produce a super intricate rice lager, using cereal mashing techniques paired with the highest grade of short grain rice we could find. We paired this snappy clean crusher with beautiful matcha tea from Shizuoka for a delicate herbal note that hits the spot. Enjoy and Kanpai!

Clear golden amber with piles of white foam in the Duvel nonic. Green and leafy aroma with the tea in the nose. The tea gives this an interesting bitter and herbal note, but it's far from subtle. Quite a bitter aftertaste for a Lager in general, and especially anything in the Rice Lager line. Quite robustly flavored and an interesting change from the usual hop flavors. But you can't taste any sort of rice or malt. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing. Dated 3/27/2024.
