On tap at Tony’s Darts Away in Burbank, CA.
Pours a clear yellow with a foamy beige head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, grass, hay, and some chalky aromas. Taste is much the same with a mild hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is drinkable but fairly basic and not all that exciting.

while i typically shy away from blonde ales, this limited release came highly recommended by mi amigo david, and thus i had to try. golden blonde in color with a small, yet persistent head and medium sized bubbles. ideal carbonation levels makes for a smooth, quaffable ale. bready and fruity on the nose, yet without any cloying sweetness that sometimes can plague the typical blonde - somewhere between a kolsch, an american blonde and a brit pale ale. surprisingly dry finish and pretty full mouthfeel on this brew as well. one of the better examples of this style i have had the pleasure of trying. good luck at GABF with this one Figueroa Mountain. this is a refreshing beer ideally suited to summer sipping beach, ballgame, or patio.
