From a growler that sat for 4 days in my fridge before I had a chance to drink it.
A very small light brown head with a thin lacing above a very dark brown to black colored beer.
Dark roast caramel to toffee malt aroma is light and laced with light coffee.
A rich lightly bitter dark roasted malt taste with some fresh brewed coffee aspects sticking out nicely.
A dry aftertaste with these dark roasted malt aspects of coffee, toffee, and almost licorice sticking around with this medium bodied beer.
A nice rich dark taste would have been perfect on this chilly day had Browns been able to win today.
