Notes: “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” The hop harvest is a very special time for the craft brewing industry. For many of us, not only does it mean new opportunities with this next harvest’s finest hops, it also means wet hops, fresh off the bine. Early in the morning of Saturday, August 13th, several farmhands stayed up and harvested Chinook for us in Southern Colorado which would then be driven down for the sole purpose of making this very special batch of the IPA that put Albuquerque on the proverbial craft beer map. Rich with the fresh green aromas that only wet hops can bring, this is everything you love about Elevated IPA, and then some.

Poured from a 16oz can with a born on date of 9/5/18; into a pub glass.
Appearance- a clean amber with a snow globe of bubbles holding a steady medium thick, off white, sudsy head; lacing is patchy, but plentiful!
Smell- a delightful bouquet of tropical fruits, passion fruit, guava, and mango with hints of pine resin!
Taste- tropical fruits overtake the palate with a touch of tangy, earthy, bitter hops on the finish; absolutely brilliant juicy flavor profile!
Feel - mild body, super easy drinking, tasty and hits a home run with the bitter finish!
Overall- I think this surpasses Project Dank, which was my favorite from La Cumbre; this is masterful!

Happened upon a single as it was being received at the Craft Beer Hop Stop on 9-19-18 for $4.50. Canned on 9-5-18; consumed on 10-4-18.

Beer poured golden orange with a beautiful long lasting white head that is leaving some lacing behind.

Nose is fresh grapefruit forward, very nice!

Taste is a moderately big pale and caramel backbone with the Chinook pine and grapefruit played in nicely to form a great tasting brew.

Mouthfeel is classic WCIPA, medium weight with a very smooth finish.

Overall a delicious brew, glad i could get such a fresh can!

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice clean/clear dark golden orangey color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango), piney. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango), piney. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

The nose is hoppy, some malts, pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit), piney. The taste is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit), piney. I tried this from the can in an IPA glass chilled
The color is amber with thick cream of off white head
The aroma has plenty of tropical and floral hop aromas with mild citrus and herbal elements.
The feel is excellent with both hop resins and moderately bitter quality with mild malt sweetness mostly dry with moderately carbonated and semi-dry in finish with light alcohol
The taste is hop joy with the focus on the flavor rather than bitterness yet it has a bitter citrus taste with slight tropical fruitiness and gentle spice accent with a gentle malt taste in the back with low sweetness but smooth combination of hops and alcohol is subtle
This is a great Wet hopped beer very high in hop flavor with refreshing smoothness not overly bitter and worthy of repeat samples, this can was very fresh a great base beer made better

A bomber with no apparent date purchased in Boulder on 09/23/17. Poured in a Storm Peak 'Dogfish Head style' glass.

Look- Pours a transparent dark gold producing three fingers of creamy white foam. Tiny carbonation bubbles are visible and heavy lacing is left behind.

Smell- Heavy floral and spice, grapefruit, mild mint and malt.

Taste- Floral esters, grapefruit, pepper and fresh rubber.

Feel- Resiny slick up front with a crisp dry finish.

Overall- While not one of the best wet hopped ales I've had, it was rather enjoyable. It's on the spicy and floral side of the hop spectrum with a little bite. A nice value at just under $10 a bomber makes it a must try for lovers of the style.

Dark, golden body; slow rising carbonation; one-finger thick head, steady and lasting. Spicy and herbal grassiness to the aroma; pine resin. Well-balanced taste of mild malt grains with a tempered yet pervasive hop bitterness. Heavy body; sharp and resinous on the palate; muted residual sugar presence with a hint of alcohol warmth; dry overall.

An awesome American IPA, well-balanced and complex with the grist and hop ingredients. The can bottom indicates it was packaged on September 05th with a 'best by' date of December 04th. It delivers a classic hop sharpness and bitterness neatly offset with a fine malt base. Damn good stuff...

Pours golden orange with a white head and nice lacing left in the sides of the glass. Aroma and flavor match one another; weedy and green pretty much nails what is going on here. Light malt presence offering a little breadiness. Medium bodied, some activity. Overall, a wonderful beer and a fantastic variation that is just as good as the original.

i think its rad they endeavored to do a wet hop version of this beer, and i always end up thinking after each wet hop season that its the beers with some malt balance that seem to work better with the wet hops for whatever reason, like the straight juice ones rarely play as well as a more well rounded beer, which makes elevated a perfect candidate for wet hopping! its perfectly clear, bubbly and heady, light copper in tone, brassy maybe is better, shiny, and really appetizing looking! the hops are robust in the aroma as well as the flavor, full of oils and essences, pine and lemon hit me first, bright as can be, clean and new, leafy though too, chlorophyll and vegetal mass, supported nicely by a malt profile that has a light toasted character, some minerals, baked tasting, needed for balance for sure. its not as bitter to me as the original, less of that likely extracted, especially if the wet ones are all in the dry hop, but the freshness is next level. i actually think the nose is more lively and hoppy than the flavor, i get more of the hop nuance there, floral, and the natural botanical newness is so appealing. oily and richer feeling from the malt and hops alike, but fairly quickly finishing. i think they could even ramp up the amount of wet hops in this to make it that much more bursting and bold, but i like a balanced wet hop beer, and this is certainly that. well done, these guys always rock out the hoppy stuff so well!

weedy-greenhouse smell is really inviting. smooth and full mouthfeel, not meant to be a soft NE style but nice in its own way, this is a nice compliment to regular elevated. Big green nose is my favorite part, well done!
