Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice hazy dark yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, guava, nectarine), pretty nice pineyness. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, guava, nectarine), very nice pineyness. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a very tasty beer.

Beautiful gold color, nice clarity, and topped with a solid, fluffy white head. Decent retention with an inconsistent curtain of lacing.
Nose starts off with a nice, slightly herbal, lime zest. Slightly grassy with a trailing off in a berry direction.
Flavor goes a bit smoother on the curves, taking a meandering path between lemon, tangerine rind, mild wet grass, a hint of alfalfa, followed by a gentle nod towards pine needles. The malt is subdued, not quite crackery, but not sweet.
Mouthfeel has a light presence, but not too light. The carbonation is perfect. Slightly dry in bitterness on the finish.

Aroma of sweet malt, herbal hops.
Taste of grapefruit, pine, a little caramel.
Medium-bodied, very pleasant.

Clear, golden body; dense and lively carbonation; nice head, white, 1 1/2 fingers thick and lasting. Pleasant aroma; mildly grass-like, herbal and spicy. The flavor plays off the aroma; more intense hop spiciness with elements of pine resin and citrus pith; delicate malt base. Medium body; crisp with a modest palate raspiness; lightly dry overall.

One can always count on certain aspects of La Cumbre's 'Project Dank' beers: always a 7.5% ABV and an overall fine India pale ale beer regardless of hops used. They consider this series an ongoing experimental IPA project. This edition utilizes Mosaic, Meridian, and Citrus hops, all to good effect.
