Belfort pint can from the brewery, poured into a Duvel tulip.
A- It's a "dark saison," so the copper-brown body seems appropriate enough. Clean with medium carbonation. The finger worth of tan head stays at a thin foam and leaves decent stick.
S- Mostly toasted malts and a woody aroma.
T- More of the toasted malt from the aroma. The hopping is lighter and lemony, maybe slightly grassy.
M- Medium body and carbonation. A light, hoppy bite.
O- Not a traditional saison by any means, and that's a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise, it's pretty drinkable. Not something I will likely purchase again, but not a bad beer either.
