If you can taste the difference in the yeasty taste between the typical Belgian Pale and the typical biere de garde then seek this beer out. (I think I can imagine the difference, but then, I'm just a Beginner.)
Brewery Vivant experiments in small batches, puts it in their Brewer's Release can and then affixes a nicely designed label with the brew's name. This seems like an efficient way to try new things.
This ale looks amber, like a biere de grade... but darker than typical. It tastes like the style, very food friendly (I had a garbage sandwich and it went fine.) While no aromas jump out at my sometimes insensitive nose, the after-taste is pleasant... good for another sip and another bite.
This is the 11th beer I have reviewed from Brewery Vivant; a total bumped up on a recent visit to their brewhouse. I, obviously, like their beers. But I more like what they are trying to do: experiment and share. If you find their ales, particularly their Belgians, try them.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
