Poured from a 12 oz can into a tulip

L: Nearly clear copper golden pour. Sediment at the end really clouded things up. Massive foamy white head. Great lacing.

S: Tropical fruits... honey, pineapple, and mango.

T/F: Crackery grains... strong citrus presence... pineapple and tropicals. Fruit sweetness... moderate bitterness. Slick on the mouthfeel. Finish is grapefruit rind.

O: A big tropical DIPA. Solid all around flavors... easy drinking. On par for the style.

A - Pours a hazy golden orange with a one finger creamy white head. Good amount of soapy lacing.

S - Aroma is pineapple, tangerine and mango,

T - The taste is pineapple, mango, tangerine, toasted biscuit and light earthy hops.

M - Medium/light body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a soft dry finish.

O - This is a nice NEIPA. The flavors are dominated by sweet tropical fruits not getting much from the hops.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours fairly hazy deep golden amber color, with a 1-2 finger dense ans rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, mandarin orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, watermelon, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. A bit too yeasty feeling. Taste of big lemon, mandarin orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, watermelon, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, mandarin orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, watermelon, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.3%. Overall this is a very nice NEIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish, great soft feel. Great Mosaic/El Dorado profile. Very juicy and lightly dank/earthy hop complexity; great wheat/oat/malt balance. Mild lingering sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Just wish it had better aromas, and then it would be a great beer.

16oz can served in a big snifter. If there's a date, I don't see it.

Pours moderately hazy, amber-gold, with a smallish head, medium to low carbonation. Smell is belgian IPA? A little banana? Is that a weird twist on tropical fruit?

Taste is less banana -- more of a guava/passionfruit flavor. But, it has a bit of a funk to it as well.

Mouthfeel is very effervescent. Overall, it's not a bad beer, but this isn't what I think of when I think of NEIPA.
