Refreshing beer served with blueberries. Poured a nice golden color. One of the better summer wheat ales out there. Rated on Episode 10 of the Foam and Lace Podcast.

Poured out of a 12 ounce can into my one of my weizen glasses, this beer pours a somewhat cloudy/hazy, light golden color with lots of streams of little bubbles rapidly and continuously rising to the beers surface. Has a nice, white head that’s about 2/3 of an inch thick when first poured. Head to eventually settles to a medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass at the beer’s surface, along with a nice thick, film layer of surface foam. Decent lacing as well. Aromas of some bready malt and wheat, along with blueberry and a nice hint of ginger. The taste is quite similar, with some bready, slightly zesty, malts and wheat along with the aforementioned blueberry and the ginger. The ginger certainly comes out more in the taste than in the smell, and I feel it really adds something very nice here. It just works very well. And the blueberry adds just the right amount of sweetness. All of the flavors seem well-balanced and all of them make their presence known. Has a crisp, yet smooth, slightly frothy, medium bodied mouth feel with moderate carbonation. Also has a clean finish, and all of the flingers linger nicely on my palate for a while after each sip, so this has a nice aftertaste. A nice, refreshing, late night beer on this late summer Friday night in Cleveland, OH.

A light cloudy complexion with a small head. The taste, abs especially the smell, mix on the blueberries and ginger well. Comes out relatively smooth as a flavored ale. My biggest complaint is I fear the flavors are fake as there is insufficient blue / purple coloring you'd get with blueberries on your beer compared to other fruited ales.

12 FL. OZ. can
Served in a perfect pint glass
This beer pours pale yellow with a slight haze. It is topped with three inches of off white head that leaves decent lacing.
The smell is big on blueberry but the ginger is muted.
The taste is pretty much your standard blueberry ale with hints of ginger.
Medium bodied with a casual mouthfeel
I figured the ginger would overpower the beer. It was subtle and the blueberry was spot on. It is a solid summer crusher.
