Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. No date on the can, though I did pick it up at the brewery just a few days ago.
Appearance: medium golden hue with plenty of haze and a finger of pillowy ivory foam.
Smell: somewhat sweet with a bit of an orangey citrus character and a little bit of earthy tropical aroma. The fruitiness lends almost a kind of acetone-y aroma that I don’t love, though at least it’s light.
Taste: moderately sweet with some orange peel and more of that kind of passionfruit-but-also-acetone flavor from the aroma. Maybe not the worst thing out there, but not my favorite.
Mouthfeel: medium body with actually a pretty good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this beer isn’t terrible, but there’s something that’s just not quite right about it. Some kinda off-flavor from fermentation, I think.
