This was a special beer brewed for the second anniversary of Apollo Pizza in Richmond, KY.
This pours with a rich and robust dark amber hue with a thick tan head. The nose has light barley malt, nutty pecan and molasses. The flavor is very rich and matches the style perfectly, in my opinion. Roasted nut like pecan and almond, toasted grain, barley malt, light chocolate and molasses are all found.
I hope this makes its way to normal circulation as its fantastic.
