Had this on 2019-12-21 on-tap at the brewery. Ratings and comments are from tasting notes, which I just found in my desk drawer!
Clear gold. Bready, noble spice.

Poured out of a 12 oz. bottle into my flute glass, this beer pours a mostly clear, medium golden color with lots of streams of little bubbles fairly rapidly and continually rising to the beer's surface. I think this bottle was a bit over carbonated, because the head when poured is huge, over 2 inches thick before it starts settling down to a solid inch thick. Good retention and excellent lacing. Aromas of bready malts for sure and a touch of floral hops. Really not much aroma here. The taste is pretty similar, an nice bready, slightly sweet, malt backbone with some floral, slightly piney and earthy hops for good balance. Also just a hint of spice. A simple flavor profile that's simple, straight forward and to the point. Has a crisp, smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate to heave carbonation. Has a clean finish and aftertaste. A nice beer on a pretty warm for early spring night here in Cleveland.

Stole this from my son's fridge while cat sitting for him (he's in Hawaii on his honeymoon). It was a good choice.
It pours a lovely deep yellow with a fine but week head. The aroma is mild but beautifully enticing. It smells like the real deal.
The taste and the rest of the experience are also quite good. The deep malts are delicious. It's very easy drinking yet very satisfying.
Recommended. Everyone should be happy with this Big Woody.

I got this out of a mixed six pack that I found a a grocery store outside of Nashville. It poured a clear golden with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had hints of grain. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with cracker hints. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid sessionable beer and should be enjoyed.

This is TBKs lager to appease all of the BMC drinkers that come in. It's good for what it is. Penn brewery makes a better Helles but I don't think this is supposed to be anything special.
