Rougabrew Lager brewed by The Brew Kettle Taproom & Smokehouse / Production Works. This lager brew has an ABV of 5.00% The pour on Rougabrew Lager, is a rich golden amber color with a small white head. The smell is rich with grain and malts. You also pick up some sweetness and a hit of hops in the smell of this brew. Now for the taste, it is bold with flavors. You pick on the grains and malts in this brew. The body to this lager is bolder than most. So far this brew has look , smell , and taste of most lagers on the market, not saying that is a bad thing. This brew puts you in the mind set of a Michelob Lager and a Busch mixed in. Bold but sweet at the same time. Rougabrew Lager, has a real nice balance to it there is nothing overpowering about this brew. The mouthfeel of Rougabrew Lager, is bold, rich, and smooth. Overall I'm giving Rougabrew Lager a 4.5 out of 5. The taste is what got me on this brew. The Brew Kettle Taproom & Smokehouse / Production Works, did a nice job with this brew. I would buy this brew again. If you are a fan of Lager brews look this one up.

Rougabrew Lager - The Brew Kettle Taproom & Smokehouse / Production Works. Poured from the bottle into B.B.C. Perfect Pint glass, this beer's head is two fingers thick, with lateral lacing, and a clear golden amber body.
I smell earthy and biscuit malts, with a slight floral hop zing. Nothing too overpowering.
Tastes like much of the components described above. The biscuit malt and floral hops are balanced quite masterfully, IMO. Very enjoyable. This, as the label mentions, would really hit the spot on a sweltering Northeastern Ohio summer day.
The mouthfeel here is very smooth and clean. Exceptionally quenching, too. Fair carbonation.
Overall, I'll give Rougabrew Lager - The Brew Kettle Taproom & Smokehouse / Production Works a 4.5. Yet another selection I've made today that could certainly have the same, if not, more appreciation during the summer months. But seeing as this is limited, grab it ASAP!

Nothing out of style or remarkable here. Grass, bread, grains, crisp, moderate, inoffensive, but kind of boring and the label is quite cheesy as well.

Enjoyed from the 12 oz bottle in a pint glass. This classic style lager pours a clear dark golden with a moderate head of white foam the settles to a nice ring, thin layer, and very nice lacing. Nose of honey, grains, and subtle grassy hops. Flavors follow the nose with strong sweetness mixed with bread and grain flavors that finishes sweet and satisfying with a light herbal hop note on the back. An excellent lager with moderate carbonation and a sweet lightly dry finish. Granted, I would NOT drink and ride any ride at Cedar Point which I loved as a child, but on a hot summer day or cooler Cleveland evening this would hit the spot quite nicely.
Cheers

12 FL. OZ bottle
Served in a pilsner glass
This beer pours a deep golden color with yellow highlights. A steady stream of bubbles feed an inch of off white head that lasts awhile and leaves a little lacing.
I get some sweet notes from the malt and a little floral action.
The taste is sweet and bready. There is a slight bitterness in the finish.
Medium mouthfeel
This beer seems aimed at the BMC drinkers of Cedar Point. It would go down easy on a hot day at the amusement park.

Bought Summer 2015 enjoyed August 20, 2015 in a pint glass.
Look - Clear golden yellow. Little head. Little lacing. Medium to large bubbles of what is there.
Smell - Grass. Light alcohol. Sweet.
Taste - Grass. Wheat. Corn. Sweet.
Feel - Water with light carbonation that explodes with the finish. Heavier than macro brew lagers.
Overall - Good beer for a two hour wait in line in 90 degree sun. Not what I want to drink as a night cap.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a classic golden with very little head or lacing. The aromas are full of sweet corn. Lots of grains and fresh grass. The flavors follow the nose. Very earthy. Crisp and refreshing. Mouthfeel is great. It's light with active spritz carbonation. Smooth and easy drinking.
This is a classic traditional lager. Perfect to enjoy during a heatwave.
