Clear copper with a minimal carbonation starting as a film then dying to nothing.
Smell is sticky, almost sweaty grape juice and candy.
I'm getting tons of caramel with banana and apple Runts on the palate. It's out of style strength notwithstanding, this is really weird for a Maibock. I'm even getting grape candy that's sweet and sticky, nearing cough syrup levels.
The round body has a fleeting carbonation as it finishes tingly and semi-dry.
