22oz. Brown bomber, picked up in the brewpub the day after BA Blackout, poured into an imperial pint.
A: Pours a rusty, woody brown. Big 2 fingers of head on the pour, creamy with lots of retention. Great lacing.
S: Toasted cereal grains, earthy and a bit nutty. Very light sweetness with some light caramel and toffee notes.
T/M: More of the lightly toasted cereal malts. Pleasant sweetness with the light caramel and rich toffee candy. Maybe even a bit of raisin. Body is medium full and almost creamy with average carbonation.
D: pretty drinkable and tasty. Hits the spot if you're looking for something malty but not toasty or heavy.

A: Pours a clear dark red color with a big foamy head that quickly subsides. Specks of lacing quickly slide down the glass.
S: Malty smell with aromas of raisins and caramel
T: Malty with a taste resembling burnt plastic. A vegetal hop flavor in the finish doesn't seem to complement the maltiness.
M: A bit thin with moderate carbonation. Finishes quite clean.
D: I've had two bottles of this, and both were less than satisfactory. This one misses the mark for me.

A clean amber with reddish hints. The white head fades very quickly but does leave some lace behind.
Nice malty caramel aromas. A slight bit of floral hops, earthy and sweet.
Not a bad beer at all and very easy too drink. Thick creamy mouthfeel full of malt. Big and rich with average complexity and great balance. Sweet caramel malty flavors with hints of milk chocolate. As well as a slight hop.
