Collaboration with Brick & Barrel. Canned on 7/10/29. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with a subtle haze and has bubbles racing upwards; fluffy and creamy eggshell white head that falls slowly leaving great thick retention and sticky frothy lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of citrus along with some crackers. Hops and malts are there. The flavors basically follow the nose for the most part. Some orange and pineapple leading the way. Some fresh grass in the mix. More crackers and fresh bread. Nice sharp bitterness. Mild spiciness in the finish which lingers. The hops do their thing. Malts do their thing without dominating. Finishes dry. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's light-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a nice "hoppy lager". They basically deliver on what you would expect from the style. The hops and bitterness shine. It's clean, crisp, sharp and refreshing. It's very bold for being a smaller beer. Well done. Nice collaboration. I really like it.
