Like popping a quarter into a gum ball machine and getting one of those lil plastic eggs with a 20 dollar bill in it, Raul feels that way right now. This one is a lucky duck and Raul is gonna drain it like Nestle on your local towns water supply.

White Rajah Strata Dry-Hopped from The Brew Kettle. Purchased on 20/3/21 at TBK, Strongville, OH, for $ 10.99 for a six-pack of 12 oz cans ($ 0.153/oz). In reefer at store. Stored at home at 42 degrees. Reviewed 27/3/21. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Bottom stamped “CANNED ON 02/18/2021”. Served at 47.6 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. Final temperature 52.5 degrees.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Pale Straw (SRM 2), clear.
Body – Straw (SRM 3), slight haze. When rear-lite, same but effervescence evident.
Head – Large (Maximum five cm, aggressive center pour), white smoke, high density, average retention, diminishing to seven to 20 mm torn curtain crown and a heaped partial cap. Tiny pieces of crown remain as the head collapses.
Lacing – Good. Multiple rows of tiny to small bubbles having thin, delicate stalactites and connected by thin columns. See also above.
Aroma – 4 – Weakly dank and earthy with a hint of grapefruit. No malt, no yeast.
Flavor – 4.25 – Moderately bitter with some dank hop taste. No malt, no yeast. No alcohol (6.8 % ABV, as marked on container) taste or aroma. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. The bitterness has a long hang-time.
Palate – 4 – Medium, watery, lively carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 4 Good IPA – bitter and mouth-filling.

Not sure this is any different than normal rajah. Aromas are pretty mute for being a 3 week old dry hopped version.

T - nice and bitter, bordering on dank
F - medium mouthfeel and carbonation, perfect for the style

This is a limited edition beer brewed for the 10th Anniversary of White Rajah. Canned on 2/18/21. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with solid clarity; small off-white head that fades leaving decent retention and lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of sweet orange. Some breads. Some caramel. Malts are there. The flavors follow the nose. More orange and citrus. Subtle hints of pineapple. Some fresh grass in the mix. Nice hop flavors. Solid hop bitterness. Malts do their thing without dominating. Finishes dry. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, slick, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a great IPA. It might not be better than their regular White Rajah, which is one of my personal favorites, but it's still great in its own right. Really good aromas and flavors. The craftsmanship is on point. Well done. I really like it.
