Our version of a New England style IPA with an Ohio twist that we dubbed a ‘North Coast’ IPA. All that bright citrus hop flavor your looking for perfectly balanced on a ‘lighter than air’ body with just enough haze to make it glow like a Cleveland summer.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had bright citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp light malt base with slightly bitter citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Something weird with this one. Strange taste. I dumped it.

While my main beer store (Saveon) is waiting for their new Ohio license (they moved to what I think is a much weaker location) I have to find new places to buy brews. Last week I stopped at Brew Kettle Mentor and had a nice growler and a pint and some tastes at the bar - a good time. This week the bar was empty, but I picked up a sixer of these.
It pours a thin, pale yellow. IT is about the least hazy hazy IPA I have seen. The aroma is nice - a bit of hoppy stank. The taste is not surprisingly good - juciy, hazy IPA's are usually pretty good. This is an easy style to make well, and Brew Kettle did a good one.
Recommended. Brew Kettle produces a decent hazy IPA at a popluar price. I wish it were fresher.

Murky yellow Citra citrus New England style. Good carbonation and decent mouthfeel. Nice fluffy head with persistent lacing. Citrus and citra with some malt. Easy drinking and solid, but nothing super. If at a good price point, would be worth buying for summer refreshment. Citra fans will like this one.

This tastes fine, pretty much like that Chicken Sandwich one. My problem is this is fucking boring. And the can art and names have absolutely nothing to do with IPA anything. I don't feel any need to buy this product.

Canned on 4/28/22. 12oz can poured into a tulip.
Pours a hazy pale golden; eggshell white head that fades leaving nice retention and sticky lacing.
The aromas have citrus coming through along with some crackers. Malts are there.
The flavors are clean, crisp and refreshing. It's very citric and citrusy. Lots of orange leading the way. Some lemon and grapefruit as well. Lots of fresh grass. Subtle hints of peach, apricot and coconut in the mix, especially in the finish. More crackers. Solid bitterness. Mild sweetness. Malts do their thing. Finishes juicy and dry at the same time. It's pretty dry for a "New England IPA". Alcohol goes unnoticed.
Mouthfeel is nice. It's on the lighter side of medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, spritzy and smooth.
This is a really nice IPA. Nice hop flavors. This one feels like it's heavy on the citra. It's a nice blend of a hazy IPA and a traditional IPA. Once again, it's very clean, crisp and refreshing. The craftsmanship is on point. This one is very fitting for the hotter weather.
