Today is a good opportunity to get to this one. Whew. 2023 vintage, 500 mL wax-capped bottle poured into my Gulden Draak tulip. It pours a dark brown, almost black, with a solid, lighter head. Head fades pretty quickly into a short, lingering top.
This is dark, like a late autumnal day. Nutty in smell and taste, followed by chewy caramel and butterscotch. Then it's smoky, slightly bitter, charred logs on the fire. Full but not overwhelming, a little warming despite the size, a touch dry for sure. A little aftertaste of dark berry and chocolate.
This is REALLY good. I was lucky enough to get the last bottle at the local outpost. Let's go Monsters/Crew!

Fairly foggy, very dark brown nearing black with a short but level tan head.
Dark caramels, nutty pine and butterscotch meet a mix of roasts and fallen leaves before charred and splintery oak come out in the exhale for days.
Booze is balanced by the moderately dense body's firm carbonation while coming to a delicately warm, semi-dry and surprisingly not sticky swallow.
That's a pretty hardcore blend.
