Hazy, amber-copper color, with a decent head.
Fruity aromas of orange, grapefruit, papaya, peach - sweet ripe fruits.
Sweet malts, honey, even toffee, which get overpowered by zingy dry hops in the end. Intense, long hoppy aftertaste. Smooth, chewy mouthfeel. Not too balanced, at the beginning, a sublte sweet maltiness dominates, suddenly fruity, piny hops. That still works fine for me, as a result you get a piny, rich flavoured double IPA with a decent body.

Picked this up at a great beer shop in Darmstadt, Germany, Maruhn Welt der Getränke. It's a collaboration brew that Riedenburger did with Brooklyn Brewery. Cloudy copper-amber pour with a two finger foamy off-white head with great retention and lacing. The nose is flowery, citrusy, and hop forward with hints of grapefruit, mango, pineapple, caramel, and pine. The taste follows suit with lots of citrus hops, nicely balanced by an equal dose of sweet caramel malt. Hints of mango, tangerine, orange zest, pine, resin, caramel, toffee, and grapefruit. The mouthfeel is slightly thick and chewy with medium carbonation and a balanced bittersweet finish. Overall, this is only my second beer from this brewery, but it's another solid offering from Riedenburger.
