Pours a hazy yellow-peach pulp color, with a froth, huge head.
Smells of lime zest, orange juice, blueberries and young garden herbs. Surprisingly complex and well composed, this is certainly a well hopped beer on the nose.
Drinks light, aqueous with a pleasant softness from start till finish.
Tastes of prickly citrus pulp, mellow oranges, lots of white dough bread, with just a hint of fruit bonbon sweetness. During its aqueous middle part, a fruity to herbal lingering hoppiness cuts through, adding depth to the silk mouthfeel. Finishes fruity with a caramel note among more dough.
This is lovely. A perfect, maybe the perfect, example of a tasty low abv hop forward ale. Bitter and fruity with a bright and refreshing appearance, this hits all the marks, while at no point showing any flaws. Instead you get a perfect summer beer, which entertains for a long while, regardings its lingering, fruity bright dryness.

Bavarian Summer Ale brought back from Berlin on my recent trip. Pours a hazy bright golden colour with a white head. Aromas are rich in fruity hops, citrus, mandarin, orange & peach. Flavour of crisp fruity hops and as in the aroma citrus, mandarin, orange & peach present as well as signs of grapefruit & grains. Fairly light bodied with a soft carbonation. Aftertaste has a mix of the fruits above with a moderate bitterness. Overall one I really enjoyed.
