Dolden Null

Pours a slightly cloudy, dark golden amber coloration with a small, fluffy head. Smells of light grainy malt and floral, vegetal hops. Taste is a good balance of hints of grainy malt and floral, herbal, vegetal hops, with hints of citrus and pine resin. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some vegetal hops and hints of citrus lingering in the aftertaste, Smooth mouthfeel with a very light body and medium carbonation.

While this does have that somewhat unpleasant vegetal hop character to it that is typical of most non-alcoholic beers, with little fruity notes coming through except for a hint of citrus, I will say that it does have a decent bitterness to it as well, which most of these beers sorely lack, as well as good, dry body, not feeling overly sweet as many NA beers do. That dry and bitter feel, along with hints of citrus and pine resin really do give the semblance of an actual, West Coast 'ish IPA to this, although it obviously doesn't compare to a proper example of the style. Overall this makes for a pretty decent non-alcoholic IPA and is certainly one of the better NA beers that I've had so far.
