Drinking this at Tapped, tap house in Greenville NC, on tap poured into a pint glass.
Appears brown, slightly hazy, nice lacing and a head that dropped quickly.
Smells bready, sweet, spicy.
The taste follows the nose, sweet and cinnamon.
Mouth feel is medium+ for the style.
Overall, I like the spice and malty aspect.

This was weirdly available in mid-July. I believe that this winter warmer is a new offering but I haven't been to Railhouse in about a year so I can't really say for sure. The beer itself smells fantastically spicy but ultimately the cinnamon taste is far too strong. It's just one overpowering note. I'll have to try it again in December to see if it sits better in its correct season but for now, unfortunately, I'd have to consider it a miss.
