Very dark color for an ipa. Decent flavor and aroma but nothing special. There are so many ipas out there now a days and this is just another one. At 8.99 a 4 pack it's a good deal bur again this is average at best.

Fresh, crisp and hoppy. Good brew, very drinkable, especially on a warm day.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours hazy orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon/orange rind, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance; minimal lingering hop astringency, building up through the glass. Moderate dryness from bitterness, that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, and fairly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a great DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

On tap as brew pub.
L- Deep gold, somewhat hazy, white head.
S- Nice tropical notes of pineapple and mango with some dank, citrus and floral in the background.
T- Similar to aroma but with some added pine and not too bitter for a DIPA.
F- Medium good drinkable DIPA.
O- A great DIPA, Paw Paw really has some great hoppy beers.

Collaboration with Greenbush and Right Brain. Served on tap at HopCat Ann Arbor on 2-14-15. Served in tulip. Pours a hazy amber with a 2 finger head. Great citrus aroma. Well balanced hop forward taste. Medium, well carbonated mouthfeel. Solid DIPA.
