On tap at Paw Paw the day after Dark Lord Day 2012. Served in a taster glass. Pours a nice semi-dark golden color with a good white head and some lacing as it falls down the glass. The nose has a good bit of light citrus hops and a slight tropical note to the background. Flavor has a bit of backing grain alongside notes of citrus and mild fruit. Body is light with a dry finish. Really nice brew.

Served on tap at Paw Paw Brewing 05/22
Served in standard pint glass. One finger white head floats atop momentarily. The head works its way be rather quickly leaving thin, scattered lacing. Body is orange and clear.
Soft toasted malt base aroma with plenty of citrus piled on. Orange and tangerine citrus aroma, soft floral beneath.
The flavor is very similar to what was experienced in the aroma. Prominent citrus flavors with slight floral essence. Malt displays a toasted biscuit flavor providing an appropriate amount of balance for the style. The hop flavor seems almost brighter and more vibrant than in the IPA.
Medium to light bodied Pale Ale. Carbonation is moderate. The finish is moderately dry.
Very pleasant beer. Drinking a few pints in a sitting would not be a problem. The bright hop flavor really carries the beer. My type of APA, not top tier but very respectable.
