Pours a black color with a large foamy head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is black coffee and roasted malts. Taste is roasted malts. Starts out sweet but finishes quite bitter.

Pours a super dark amber hue with really thick head that forms into a weird mesa. Slightly sweet & roasted malty aromas. Very dry and very bitter, carbonation is almost absent. First Paw Paw Brewing brew I've had and not really impressed with it.

Pours near-black with a nice off-white head and some lacing on the way down. The nose carries a bit of roast and very mild chocolate along with some pine and citrus hop notes. The flavor balances the malt and hops quite well, leading to a dry, fairly-bitter finish. Nice beer that I’d be glad to have again.
