This Breakfast Stout was infused and conditioned with fresh cinnamon sticks, Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans, and natural sweet cinnamon bun flavors. We then teamed up with local coffee roasters Reverent and Lanna (2020 Rush Day winners) to add a cold brew infused method of coffee from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Som Poi, Thailand. The base beer is a blend of different Tioga-Sequoia stouts all aged in Willett Bourbon barrels for 14-22 months. Look for rich flavors of sweet cinnamon and toasted coffee, surrounded by velvety nuances of vanilla, oak and bourbon in the finish.

Went over to Tioga Sequoia on a recent work trip to Fresno and naturally spent way too much money taking stuff back to San Diego. The back of the bottle read “Cinnamon Pan Dulce Rush is the eighth release of our barrel project series. Poured a pitch-black color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy-to-fizzy khaki tan head. Surprisingly could see a bunch of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Decent spotty lacing. Average retention. (Sight - 3.50)

Smelled awesome right from the beginning. In order got cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, dark coffee, anise, licorice, oaky bourbon, vanilla, cacao, hints of black pepper and chocolate. Just as good from the bottle with addition of walnut and fudge. (Smell - 4.50)

First thing on the taste was that this was pretty damn smooth for 14.1 pct. ABV. In order got cinnamon, nutmeg, anise, allspice, black licorice, bark, dark roasted coffee, cacao, oaky bourbon, vanilla and chocolate. (Taste - 4.50)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Soft carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.50)

Damn. This was incredible. Even better than I imagined. (Overall - 4.50)
