Cask. Dark copper. Aroma was not appealing. Some burnt rubber and green hops. Really a pungent nose that isn't too enjoyable. Heavily hopped but the hops have gone bad. The flavor is far more pleasurable. Balanced. Caramel malt sweetness and a vigorous grassy and herbal hoppiness. Cask feel. Body is packed with creaminess. It was all good except for the nose.

I bought this beer while on holiday in Wales. I was visiting Chirk castle and they were selling it in their cafe'. For a four year old brewery I was pleasantly surprised at the complexity of the flavor. It is a golden strong bitter and easily quaffable. It is a very smooth beer and very enjoyable to drink. My fiance who doesn't like beer thought it was "very nice".
