L - dark saison brewed with vanilla bean. Pours a dark brown with reddish fringe. Surprisingly light tan head with lasting power.
S - loads of vanilla and peanut butter brownies. Maybe a hint of belgian spice, but dessert is the name of this game so far.
T - woof. All the decadent tastes of peanut butter fudge, vanilla bean ice cream, and licorice, but with enough belgian zest to cut through all the sweetness and create a fresh, herbal florality that keeps this drinkable.
F - full-bodied with low carbonation levels; not typical of a saison.
O - I'd use the term "saison" loosely here. This wants to be a milk stout, but has just enough farmhouse funk to keep it lively and unique. Vanilla bean is an interesting and prominent flavor. I dig.
