Pours a hazy, orange/copper color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Good retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, citrus hops, slight pale malt, slight spice, and a hint of yeast. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, hint of pale malt, citrus hops, slight floral hops, hint of earthy malt. Overall, decent appearance, good aroma, good feel, and good body.

On-tap while anxiously awaiting the Phish show next door at Chaifetz Arena. single hop IPA featuring the strisselspalt.

A - pours an orangish yellow color, more orange than yellow. Not much of a head on it, albeit there is patchy, thin foam sitting on top.

S - Nose is grassy, earthy, and a touch citrusy. For an aromatic hop it isn't too strong on the nose.

T - starts off with lemony citrus flavors upfront that move on to a grain and biscuit flavored malt base. The hops come back with a fresh cut grass spiciness, a little earthy, and citrus. Oddly enough, the biscuit malt finishes it off...I am used to hops putting the period in a beer's sentence.

M - a touch watery, but full and smooth with a bit of carbonation on the backend that helps scrub the tongue down

D - overall, this is a refreshing IPA that offers a nice amount of flavor and complexity while keeping itself from being a hop bomb that many others in this style can fall victim. Don't know how this will stay on, but I'll definitely have another.
