Look: Pours a bright semi-hazy amber with a fluffy white head with good retention and lacing. The beer is unfiltered as there are larger than normal particles settling at the bottom of the glass.
Smell: Sweet pineapple and bread, surprisingly nice and simple.
Taste: Carmel and yeasty bread with a slight hop finish and a hint of sweetness. Very tasty.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied

Clear copper/amber color with a respectable and lasting off white head. The aroma is caramel malt with a touch of citrus and pine. The taste is sweet caramel malt balanced by some grapefruit and pine. The finish is mostly grapefruit zest and pine resin, moderate bitterness. The body is medium, good carbonation level, fairly smooth and drinkable. Altogether, this is a pretty decent classic IPA, slightly malt heavy but fairly well balanced, should go fairly well with barbeque.

This brew, from an aluminum can, is a dark straw hazy color with a frothy off white head. The aroma is a pleasing mix of hops and malt....fruit and flowers. Solidly hoppy and well balanced. Drinkable and enjoyable.

Purchased at Macadoodles in Branson, MO for $1.39/can.
Canned on 12/5/19
Dogfish Head nonic.
Old school golden copper bronze color with a creamy head of 3 fingers, leaving lots of lace.
Holy spoilage batman. Tons of garbage coming up. Smells like pure onion, garlic, mustard, soy, and expired milk. This beer must have fallen off the cliff a month ago.
Flavor is no better. Tons of caramel malt which brings a nice sweetness followed by some piney notes and bitter grapefruit, but beyond that is pure onion, garlic, and fusel.
Feel is nice and resiny, has a good body to it, good carbonation, and a politely resiny finish. Moderate and appropriate alcohol heat.
Overall nothing I'd return to. I think maybe if it were two weeks old I'd try it again, but it seems this beer fell off a long long time ago.

Cracked this one open and took a sip...and I need to go back to the beer store. Easy on the crystal malt guys. This tastes more like a caramel apple than an ipa. No seriously, this tastes more like a wee heavy than a hoppy ale. Sweet and malty. Canned on 7-9-19. Consumed 8-7-19. I could understand this tasting like a malt bomb if it was a year old ipa...but at a month old this should have some hop presence. I smell only malt, taste is so dominated by crystal malt that no hops are perceptible. Consider rebranding this as a scotch ale tho. I understand that many breweries aim for balance between malt and hop bitterness, but this is not balance.

From the bottle, it pours a clear amber with a modest head that soon diminishes to nothing. Piney hops in the nose. The mouth gets a bit of citrus and pine as well. Nice!
