Pours black with a single finger of khaki head. Head retention is fair, with no lacing. Aroma is chocolaty, with biscuit and roasted malts bolstering the chocolate. Simple aroma overall. Flavor profile is milk chocolate, and roasted malts. Not much more, not much less. Mouth feel is thin, with a somewhat grainy texture. Overall, a fine beer. The chocolate is well done, while refraining from being over powering or incredibly thin.
Served in a 12oz snifter.

Black in color with a miniscule bit of light penetration. There's a fingernail of beige around the rim and just a wisp of it elsewhere on in the middle. Aroma is an enticing blend of chocolate and dark malt with a faint hint of smoke. I taste notes of bitter dark chocolate, dark malt, leather, and coffee. The mouth is slightly oily and a touch chewy.

12oz bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It smelled of chocolate, roasted malt and toffee. Sweet chocolate taste with toffee, caramel and a mild bitterness.

Pours very dark with a small head. Scents of chocolateand smoke. Very smooth and easy to drink. Could use a little more punch but a good beer.

Pours a clear, dark brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of sweet malt, roasted malt, chocolate, hint of coffee, hint of hops, hint of tea, and slight yeast. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, roasted malt, chocolate, hint of coffee, hint of hops, hint of tea, and slight yeast. Overall, great blend, amazing body, and good aroma.

Pours dark brown, with light coming through the edges. 1 finger head the disspated within a few minutes. Smells faintly of chocolate with hints of malt. Tastes like porter with a slight chocolate. Mouthfeel is almost a little gritty. Glad I got to give this one a try.
