Very light nose, not much hint of hops (IBU 19). Full mouth feel, malty and tones of caramel apple. A true dubbel, and I'm assured by the staff it's available year round in bottles at the taproom.

Pours a clear copper color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong sweet malt, alcohol, Belgian yeast, hint of banana, slight spicy hops, and hint of caramel malt. Fits the style of a Dubbel. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong sweet malt, strong Belgian yeast, slight banana, spice, alcohol, hint of caramel malt, and a slight spicy hops. Overall, decent appearance, aroma, and body, but sharp feel and sub-par blend.

This brew is a completely clear brown, with a wispy white head. The aroma is full of bubblegum, sweet spice, and alcohol. Dark fruit is present in the taste. I get a lot of banana, clove, and distant cinnamon. Dry...more so than many brews, and moderately carbonated. The finish has a funky Belgian phenolic character. Full in body and enjoyable.

Poured out a clear amber color with ruby highlights and a small, white head of foam. It smelled of banana, spices, and bready malt. Good spicy flavor with a nice dried fruit flavor. Some banana and clove, too.
