Pours a lightly translucent brown with bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass for the duration of consumption. Head is a finger in height and off white in color. Head retention is good. Aroma is butterscotch, toast, and smooth bready malts. Flavor profile is lightly bitter, and features butterscotch, caramel, toast, and bready, earthy malts. Mouth feel is crisp and refreshing, with a lightly bold feeling that gives it a little more 'oomph' than a crisp lager. It has a medium-thin consistency. Overall, a quality mild that is, well, mild. Very refreshing, but bordering on harsh.

On tap. Poured out a dark brown color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of butterscotch, malt and toffee. Sweet and malty with butterscotch and toffee. Mild bitterness.
