Poured from a can. Dark brown with a tan head. Lots going on in the smell, chocolate, cinnamon, coffee, and roasted malt. Flavors include chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, roasted malt and ends with a slight spicy hit. A lot going on here but it all seems to work together well. Lots of flavor a little spice, nice beer

Dark brown in color with the faintest suggestion of light penetration. There’s a third of an inch of densely packed creamy brown on top. It fades within a few minutes to a fingernail. The nose is muddled blend of cinnamon, cayenne, lactose, and espresso. I’m tasting cayenne, espresso, lactose, and cocoa. The mouth is oily and busy from the cayenne and espresso.

Pours black with a finger of khaki foam. Head retention is okay. Aroma is cinnamon, cardamon, coffee, lactose, residual sugars, and roasty and toasty malts. Spicy with a little coffee. Very aromatic. Flavor profile is roasty and toasty malts with complexity enhanced by cinnamon, cardamon, bold coffee, lactose, chocolate, and cocoa nibs. Lots of notes within a thin stout body. Mouth feel is medium-thin. While it starts creamy up front, it falls to a more watery, fuzzy texture at the finish. Overall, expressive dynamics within a thin stout, making it a burst of flavor welcome in social settings or when coffee and stout qualities are desirable in low ABV form.

On tap. Poured a jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It smelled of raw coffee beans, chocolate and toffee. Sweet chocolate, light coffee notes, and caramel taste.
