Mmmmm....Revelations indeed. Black as midnight. Heavy on the soul.
Think you don't like Stout? Try this one.
Think you don't like any kind of beer? Try this one.
We can't tell you how many times we've heard both declarations from the mouths of our customers and low and behold....they try this beer and are saved from a life of bad beer or no beer at all.
Can I get a witness?
Lift a glass of this dry stout up to your nose and breathe in the decadent aroma of dark chocolate emanating from the creamy off-white to tan-colored head. Take a sip and feel the familiar warmth of roasted coffee that goes down smooth. A lighter body than your average stout makes this one a house favorite--our best-selling beer, in fact.
So throw off your shackles!
Come to the House of the Pour
And you just might find salvation
In a glass of Revelations!

I feel like my 3.5 rating is a little low but I just average my scores. Make it 3.7 overall if I don't have to grade each aspect
Very malty and dry. Quite pleasing. Smell and mouth feel are both a little underwhelming. I like a little more coffee and chocolate in my stout and prefer it a little thicker but this is still very good and definitely an easy drinker.

Very dark brown with ruby highlights and a modest creamy tan head.
The aroma is dark roasted malt, some notes of espresso, dark chocolate and caramel.
The taste is also dark roasted malts, espresso, dark chocolate. The finish is dry with notes of herbal hops and smoke, very nice.
The body is medium, moderate carbonation, smooth and very easy to drink.
Altogether, this is a very nice take on Irish dry stout, tasty and enjoyable.

Jet black Guinness look with not a lot of head. Alcohol smell and malt and barley smell too. Also, had some espresso smell too. For the taste, think Guinness but with the bitterness of an Juice IPA, but without that IPA hop character. There is a small espresso and a small dark chocolate taste too. There is a bitter aftertaste left.

12 oz can, canned 10/2/19, purchased from Macadoodles in Branson, MO.
Pearl Street pint glass.
Pours a chocolatey dark brown body with a creamy beige head of 2 fingers, staying firm at 1. Nice.
The aroma is offensive at first, but then welcoming - the incredibly bitter and charred malts hit the nose like a truck, and once your brain processes the warmer tones of the sharpness it becomes enjoyable to smell. Some dark coffee and black malt, green pepper notes too, spicy chile pepper, smoke and ash, very slight caramel sweetness.
Flavor is less intense and is softer overall. Opens with hard mineral water and coffee grounds. Brings the intense bitter black malt but this sits further back; adorned with a bit of caramel and ash as well.
Feel is crisp, smooth, and definitely very roasty. Mild heat, the only flaw at 5.4%.
Overall, a delicious dry roasty stout and one to check out if you're into that type of thing. Better than Guinness and that's saying a lot, style-wise.

Black with one finger light tan head. Heavy roast on the nose, only slightly evocative of coffee and chocolate. The flavor follows, with some coffee and dark chocolate. Soft caramel. The finish is a little sweet, bitterness low to medium low. Creamy but light mouth feel.

Very dry nose and palette. Long on finish. Favors a Murphy Stout, rather than a Guinness. Quite nice.

Looks great, has a very dark pour with a creamy head that doesn’t stick around long.
The smell was my favorite part very dark malty smell with undertones of dark Chocolate and espresso and a very slight grassy hop aroma.
The taste was a bit of a let down as I didn’t get all of those flavors that I smelt just tasted very malty with a little bit of the hops towards the back of the throat.
The feel is quite nice, covers your mouth in a nice way and not overly carbonated so you can get the creamy characteristic and dry at the swallow.
Overall it’s a pretty decent beer if you’re reading these reviews thinking about trying it, I suggest you do.

A very good tasting dark beer. Big on taste just a tad thin on the body. If it had a thicker body this would be a world-class beer in the 5.4% ABV range. Perhaps they would lose a few customers if it was thicker but that would make it awesome to me and some others. But even with the light to medium body it still works with this really good beer. Hopefully they'll make a thicker version and have both available and maybe they'll up the ABV a couple percentage points and they'll have something very special in the Craft Beer Market. Good job guys give it a thought it is a good recipe, cheers!
