The ultimate session beer. Refreshing yet full of flavor. A lower gravity means this beer is readily suited for drinking in quantity. Light-bodied, but big on taste.
We brew this ale as true to style as possible. Roasted barley provides a nutty, malt foundation with subtle hints of smoke. The malt is also responsible for the beautiful color. Think it looks dark? Hold it up to the light and you'll fall in love with it's deep ruby hue. Genuine Fuggle hops bring a gentle balance to this English style you'll want to enjoy again and again. And again.......and again...

Had this beer at the brewery poured from tap. Clear brown color with decent initial head. Fades fast with little residual lacing. Sweet caramel smell and taste. Some nice bitter finish but this is mild even for a mild.

Pours a clear, dark brown. 1/4 inch head of an off-white. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of sweet malt, pale malt, hint of hops, and hint of yeast. Fits the style an English Dark Mild Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, an average carbonation. Tastes of roasted malt, sweet malt, hint of hop, slight yeast, and a hint of pale malt. Overall, smells very fresh, good blend and appearance.

A - Poured out a clear, copper color with a one-finger, off white head of foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass.
S- It smelled earthy and malty with some floral notes.
T - It tasted sweet and malty with some nice spiciness.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A light bodied ale with a dry finish.
O - This is a very nice English-style ale. Nice!

Deep amber to brown in color, head and lace were pretty good.
Lots of toasty and nutty smells and tastes with this one, a bit roasty with a lovely caramel malt body. It's very much what I expected from the style, but nothing of what I'd expect from an American brewery in the middle of Missouri.
Body was crisp and light, with a nice roasty finish.
It's a really nice mild. This is the one they show as 2011 GABF bronze medal winner, and it's certainly a tasty brew. It's also billed as a session beer and certainly more than meets that criteria. It's a must try if you visit this brewery.
