Cellared 2 years. Lighter brown mostly clear yet cloudy body with a frothy khaki head. Aromas of toffee and raisin mixing with dry and airy yeast with muted bread tones, slight orange slice, and boozy esters. Taste has the malts with caramel and more so toffee, yeast with airy bread, general raisin, golden raisin, a hint of tobacco and cocoa with a fruity finish that strikes the palate with hints of orange, apple, and underripe plum. Feel is light and airy yet never thin, easy drinking for the style, hide that almost 10% abv frightening well, smooth and dries out nicely

The beer pours a creamy white with a hint of brown head that dissipates very quickly. The beer itself is an opaque brown that looks very nice.

The smell is good. It has a caramel and toffee smell with an apple in the finish. The notes mix somewhat well but the apple is a little bit boozy.

The taste is good. It has the same notes as the smell: caramel and toffee with a boozy apple finish.

The mouthfeel is good. It has a medium body with tingling carbonation and a slight burn and slightly sticky in the finish.

Overall, this is a good beer worth trying. Port City made an interesting choice aging in apple brandy that works well enough with the more malty old ale style.

The pour is an umber brown color. The taste is rich roasted malt, dark chocolate, brown bread, & a hint of prunes. Cheers! A-

Good pour, beautiful medium brown color with good head.

No real smell.

Very smooth. Easy to drink. Good medium feel, not too thick, not too thin.

Overall, a very good beer - not outstanding but worth having.
