We've taken you favorite nostalgic flavor & made it a bit more grown up. It's like having a sleepover except now you are watching the sunrise on the beach looking for your other flip flop.

Ah, it is times like these that make my heart smile! I was on an excursion to the western end of the county & on the way back, I was inspired to stop in at Subs & Six Packs for a look-see. I was flabbergasted to see this latest entry available as a single & snapped it up. Upon returning home, I noted that it did not exist on this site. No problem, but the next step was to take and resize what has become the approved pic. That accomplished, I built the entry, submitted some Notes & the picture & became its first reviewer. Perfect!
From the Bottle: ""Small Town Brewery makes specialty beers that utilize unique ingredients with an unmistakable taste of nostalgia[.]"; "We've taken you favorite nostalgic flavor & made it a bit more grown up."; "It's like having a sleepover except now you are watching the sunrise on the beach looking for your other flip flop."
I Pop!ped the cap & since it was already identified as "Hazy", I went with an aggro C-Line pour. This was not very productive as I did not get any head at all and just a light amount of fizzing. Hazy?!? It was a downright cloudy neon-orangish Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5), reminiscent of a glass of Tang. Wow. Nose had a pronounced orange-y citrusiness, but I continued to think of Tang. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, just above watery. The taste was really tart, quite orange-y and very much like Tang! Finish was very tart and quite dry as a result. I'm not sure quite what they were going for in this one, but I was not very impressed nor enamored. A definite one & done! YMMV.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
