Canned 3/14/18. Only 6 days in the can.
Pours a opaque dirty orange in the glass with a finger+half of off-white head. First thing to hit your nose is rye + spiciness that work wonderfully together. Also notes of clove, grapefruit, and mulled tangerines. The aroma reminds me of the kitchen when making a strong mulled wine around Christmastime. I honestly expected the taste to be predominantly malty. However, although the notes from nose cross over to the palette, there's also great tangerine, grapefruit, bubblegum and other sweet fruit notes that balance with the spicy rye. Left the best lacing on the glass I've seen from an IPA in quite a while. The biggest negative I can come up with, is that the mouth feel is a bit on the light side, but with only 6.7% I can understand. Sweet fruit mixed with a spicy rye than is so wonderfully balanced that I'm going crazy. I am dying for DIPA version of this!

Poured a golden color with a 2F head in an Orval Trappist glass. Nice lacing.
Malt, spice, earthy aroma.
The mouth feel is smooth and malty. This is a pleasant easy drinking beer.
Taste: grapefruit taste with a spicy, earthy finish.
As the beer warms, the grapefruit is more pronounced.
Overall: Idle Hands has their own signature for brewing well-known styles.
This Belgian pale ale is malty, and I like the grapefruit. Also, it isn't over-carbonated or too spicy as other beers brewed in the same style.
Another up and coming Boston based brewery.

Cloudy gold color. Plenty of chunky lace. Modest head.
Some bitterness with a bit of cat pee. Strong pine as well.
Thin bodied and highly carbonated. Starts with a thin semi dry malt and ends with a grapefruit bitterness.
